A Personalized Approach to Your Healing

I believe in tailoring treatment to your unique needs and the concerns you're facing. My goal is to truly listen and understand the emotions you're experiencing and the situations that may be preventing you from fully enjoying your life.

I'm committed to helping you navigate challenges, empowering you to look within and discover your strengths and abilities. Together, we'll explore the tools and techniques that have helped many others on their journey to healing.

But it all begins with you taking that first step—choosing to focus on yourself and embrace the healing you deserve.

What to Expect in Therapy

Our journey begins with a consultation call to ensure that I can support you and that we’re a good fit. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is just as important as the treatment itself, and I want to ensure that we are aligned in helping you achieve your goals. During our call, I’ll ask about the challenges you’re facing that led you to seek support.

In our initial session, I’ll take time to understand your unique needs, concerns, and strengths so we can create a treatment plan tailored to you. As we move forward, you’ll be in control of your healing journey. You’ll have the space to express your thoughts and feelings as openly as they arise.

I’m here to help you find your voice and guide you through processing what’s holding you back. Together, we’ll develop the skills to manage life’s challenges, making your journey smoother and more fulfilling.

How I Help You Achieve Transformation

To support your healing and transformation, I use a variety of proven therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Structural Family Therapy

Additionally, I incorporate tools from Narrative Therapy, Gottman’s Method, and Play Therapy, offering a well-rounded approach to guide you toward lasting change and healing.

Is Now the Right Time for Therapy?

The decision is yours. Only you know how much you desire to experience relief from your struggles, gain control over your emotions, and heal from the memories or trauma that may be holding you back.

If you’re ready to take that step, I am here to support you and walk with you on your healing journey.

As I’ve mentioned, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is just as important as the treatment itself. I understand that building trust with a new therapist can be challenging, so let me share a bit about myself and how my passion for therapy began

About Me

How My Journey into Therapy Began

My passion for therapy began in my home country of Mexico. Growing up, I watched my mother dedicate time each week to visit the elderly in our community. She would simply check in and offer a listening ear, and that small act left a lasting impression on me. I realized then the profound impact of having someone to talk to.

Since high school, I knew I wanted to help others in the same way.

When I moved to the United States at 15, I started my path toward becoming a therapist during my second semester of college. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life.

Now, I’m privileged to witness the transformations of my clients—their growing empowerment, healing from emotional wounds, and the countless success stories. I’m constantly inspired by their incredible resilience and strength.

Additionally, I have the honor of working with individuals in the professional sports industry, watching many of them put in the hard work and determination required to achieve their dreams. It's a true privilege to see their growth, both personally and professionally.

When I’m Not in Therapy...

You can often find me at the baseball field, where I serve as a Mental Strength Coach for the STL Cardinals. Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with my family.

Taking the First Step

I understand that reaching out for help can feel like a big step, but if something here has resonated with you, I encourage you to take the next step and schedule a consultation today. Let's talk about how we can work together on your healing journey.

I’m excited to hear from you!

Remember, taking this step is a powerful act of self-care. Give yourself credit for the courage to focus on your well-being and invest in your future. You deserve this journey toward healing.

Courage to heal

You have taken one of the most difficult steps in healing, which is using your courage to look for help and reach out.

And although this can be difficult, it can also be the best step you take for yourself, for your future and for your well-being.

I will be honored to walk this path with you and to support your healing journey.

If you decide to start your healing journey with me, this is what you can expect of me and the way I work.

Some of my goals as a therapist in the therapy process are to build a safe space for you, where you can comfortably process and discuss your concerns.

To build a trustworthy therapist-client relationship, where you feel safe to share with me some of your struggles, the things you have been through, your challenges and successes too.

Hand holding a compass in nature

I believe in tailoring treatment for your specific needs and presenting concerns.

I am determined to listen and to understand the emotions that you are having and the situations that may be holding you back from enjoying your life in the present.

I am determined to help you move along the challenges and help you look within to find your strengths and skills. I am eager to share with you the skills that have helped many of my clients.

But, it all starts with you taking the first step.

It all starts with you taking the chance in focusing on yourself and doing the healing that you deserve.

What does therapy actually look like?

First we’ll have a consultation call to determine that I can help you and that we are the right fit. I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship is as important as the treatment itself. I will ask you about the current challenges that you are experiencing that made you reach out for help.

During our initial session, I will assess your needs, concerns and strengths in order to provide the right treatment. As treatment continues, you will be in charge of your healing, you will have the right to voice your thoughts and feelings as raw as you experience them.

I will support you in giving a voice to the things that you need to process and let out. I will teach you the skills to regulate, to move along, to make things easier for you and to make life more enjoyable.

What do I use to help you make the transformation happen?

I work using:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Structural Family Therapy
  • I also draw tools from Narrative Therapy, Gottman's Method and Play Therapy.

Wondering whether now is the right time for therapy?

You have the power to make the decision. Only YOU know how much you desire for things to get better, for the struggle to diminish, for having an increased ability to regulate your emotions or not be affected by the memories or trauma that you may have experienced in the past.

If you feel ready to take that step, I am here to support you and start your healing journey.

Also, as I stated before, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is as important as the treatment itself. And I know how difficult it can be to build trust with a stranger, so here is a little bit about me.
